The Freewinds (Ship Org) is a specialized Church of Scientology that operates the Motor Vessel Freewinds, a 440-foot ship based in the Caribbean, with the home port of Curaçao. The ship was acquired in the mid-1980s. Delivered on board is a version of New OT VIII, altered by David Miscavige from the original. The ship also serves as the home of the IAS Administrations, the organization that administers coercion of large sums of money from Scientology parishioners which is not refundable (in violation of explicit LRH policy). Numerous eye witnesses (and victims of abuse) have reported that the engine room and lower decks of the Freewinds also serve as a floating prison for senior executives of the Church of Scientology and various staff who defy the orders of David Miscavige. The Freewinds Ship Org is supported by the IAS since it has never made enough money to support itself. The captain of the Freewinds is Mike Napier, reported to be a tyrannical man who works hard to emulate David Miscavige.

Nonstop Regging

Id rather pay for a real cruise along the mediterranean coast!

Where I stand on key issues

I am a
Independent Scientologist
The leader of the Church of Scientology, David Miscavige, is a...
Suppressive person (sociopath)

Pros and Cons (optional)

Pros
Not many
The food was good and I got good treatment from the staff
I was told the tours were nice
Cons
Its Regging all the way; a lot of valuable course time is wasted on events asking for your money.
The promo for the ship doesn't match reality. Its not that beautiful and no, you don't get on the ship and suddenly key out.
The staff seemed tense at all times.
Its a classist place; people known to be richer are courted and treated with more ARC.
Too expensive!!!

Bottom line...
